  • Prague

    After the arrival of Frankfurt and met up with Nutnut and Jona, about 12 hours later, now, I'm in Prague, Czech Republic. Really look forward to the following 3 days stay here! Now staying in Traveller's Hostel, in a private room with vid, nut and jona. Quite a safe enviroment.

    It's such a long day, from Hong Kong to Prague, it's more than 36 hours. Tomorrow will be another long day. The sun sets at 10pm here, quite interesting. Time to get some rest now, type later

  • Europe (1)

    After 12 hours of flight, finally I'm now at the Frankfurt airport. There's some interesting things that worth mentioning.

    Before departure from Hong Kong, there was a 'verbally abusive' passenger on board and needed to be 'removed' and 'taxied' back to the terminal because 'the passengers sitting around him wouldn't be pleased to be with him for the next 12 hrs'. 'Luckily,' according to the flight captain, 'the plane didnt' use up much fuel and didn't need to re-fuel".After the passenger and the lugguage were 'removed', the plane could finally take off. This was more or less what the captain told us and our plane was delayed for about an hour. Interesting!

    Now I'm at the airport with David, waiting for Janice and Jonathan's arrival. Then we'll go to Praha by train. We'll arrive Praha at around 2130 and will settle in a hostel. So sleepy now. Though Frankfurt is meant to be one of the busiest airport in Europe, however there aren't much people around and the shops are not yet opened. Perhaps that's because it's only 8am and people are still having fun with Mr. Chau.

  • Final MB

    Final MB 已經接近尾聲, 還有四天, 就會有幾個月的悠長假期！還記得考完 written exams 的那一天, 我們大顆兒到銅鑼灣吃飯, 才發現自新年以來, 就再沒有逛過街, 最遠都是去西環香港仔買食物和日用品, 而每次出去, 都會計著時間, 一定要在某某時間內回到宿舍, 就算不是讀書也要迫自己坐在書桌旁。本身不喜歡溫習考試的我, 覺得最辛苦的, 就是要迫自己溫考試, 做 past paper, 背 past paper 答案, 務求試題「翻炒」時可以把答案背出來, 要就範於這種病態的學習模式, 有相當的難度, 幸好我有鼠鼠相伴, 也有無數的 mini-games 來消磨時間 ... 無論如何, 這些都將會成為過去！

    星期三大概早上十時, 所有的考試都會完結！之後就可以看二月河的康熙和雍正, 清一清大量買了回來但還沒有看的書, 打橋牌, 下棋(玻子棋, 圍棋, 中國/國際象棋, backgammon), 買 DSLR 學影相, 練結他, 鑽研廚藝, 看電影, 去北京, 去內蒙, 去歐洲, 打羽毛球, 行山, 踏單車, 去沙灘, 去睇星 ... ...

    發完夢, 是時候開始溫習星期一的 OG OSCE, 未正式開始溫, 已經覺得很悶了

  • It's 4.30pm now and I think I should be in the examination hall and doing my medicine MCQ. But I have just done something that I have never done in life - leave early!

    I have finished the paper and rechecked twice before 4pm, and slept for 30 minutes, felt extremely bored. I think I should have 54 correct answers (hopefully). I think doing MCQ is like, either you know the answer or you don't. And this final MB examination series probably are the last exams that I have in my full-time student career. Perhaps it's not a bad idea to do something that I have never done before? And here I am, enjoying myself in the music library, just opposite to the entrance of the main building.

    I think I better go to Starbucks, buy myself a cup of coffee and enjoy this nice afternoon, hehe
